Expressioni Film Festival was created in 2006 on the initiative of the Municipality of Milan and is realized at Cinema Gnomo, under the artistic direction of Perypezye Urbane. It is an audiovisual festival with the widest range of films, from documentaries on performing arts, to experimental film and videos. From the very beginning the exhibition presents an  international  program and from 2011 also consolidates a collaboration with Il Coreografo Elettronico Festival.  For two years now, Expressioni Film Festival is involved in a tour that in 2011 reached the city of Siena, Rome, Bari, Catania (Italy), Nis-Sombor (Serbia), Podgorica (Montenegro), Varna (Bulgaria), Izmir (Turkey) and Praia de Iracema (Brazil).  In July 2012 it was a guest of the festival “Wam” in Faenza.
